Detected by the scouts of MD Model Management, Hamburg-native Klara K radiates a naturalness infront of the cam that obviously mesmerized not only her hometown but also the team of FM Agency London. Being only 15 years old and therefore still chewing books in school, we will have to be a little bit patient for first stay abroads - But with MD Model Management working on further placements and making sure to keep the progress of their 5'10 diamond going on in HH, we will hopefully report on Klara's next steps, soon - New tests after the jump!

Fall 2011 Milan/Paris: Quantum 7 Models (Cologne)

A Show Package is always somewhat of a buzzometer - It gives a foretaste of what is to come and, however, offers scads of uncertainty which easily transcends into a host of questions: Which show will the particular favorite appear in? Is the particular model actually intown? Not forgetting the endless discussions on runway exclusives, and the senseless predictions it brings along.
To make a long story short: Hope, in its most different states - That's what it's all about. And the F/W11 show package of Quantum 7 Models certainly raises our hopes as we strongly believe in the Klösche discoveries of their agents Patrick & Philipp. Accordingly, we hope that their new lads will just end up as successful as their bonny fellows Christian Ochsenfahrt and Keno Weidner. Both been scooping up ultra blue-chip bookings from Prada to Givenchy in prevoius seasons. So make sure to keep a watching brief over the following Quantum 7 lads going to be off to Milan and Paris for fashion week in January. We're already curious about who of them will make it on our 'F/W11 obsessions' list!

60s flashback! Christopher at UMA Scouting is anything but a boy next door. There is something fascinating about this 19 year old fellow from Berlin - The super long curly hair, the tattoo & the very unconventional street style.... all told adding their bits to Christopher's very intriguing appeal - We can imagine some certain Parisian fashion houses with pretty alternative aesthetical lines going mad for this guy. Digital Diamonds kept Trump Model's breakthrough star Anais Pouliot under its newbie-surveillance since she popped up in Trump NYs development division a couple of years ago – and as it is almost always the case with those newfaces, your favorite one will only loom on the horizon when you expect it least of all – Quite out of the blue, Anais' career took off landing a Miu Miu runway exclusive in Paris earlier this year, followed up by Resort-2010-spotlights at Prada, and a constant receipt of hotshot-bookings in all fashion capitals during SS11. With this much well-deserved hype about her person, it’s hardly surprising that the Canadian doll rides the wave of enthusiasm off the runways as well shooting for the latest issue of W Magazine with Paolo Roversi and having also 4 fashion stories photographed by Terry Richardson in store!

Yet again another newly-found gent at UMA Scouting - Alexander Müller hails from Berlin and gives off a pretty sophisticated look for being only 17 year old! With plenty German (male) newcomers heading to get off the starting blocks for fashion weeks next year, we bet you a pound that Alexander will appear on the one or other must-have sheet. Who could ever ignore such clear cut features meeting intense eyes & some cool personality, nonetheless? Stick around!

Fall/Winter showpackages for Berlin Fashion Week popping up all over the place feels a bit odd at this time as there still are plenty of memories & unforgettable impressions from the SS11 season wandering our minds. But since we simply cannot place that Berlin-located event on hold, let's jump on the bandwagon and initiate the impending Fall Shows with Cat Model Management's show package. Established roughly one year ago, Cat Model MGMT proved to be the agency to be watched not only stocked with several diamonds from abroad (take Chloe M or Anastasiia C for example!) - but also having a great selection of inhouse manufactured detections available who have already done fairly well last season! One can't go wrong with this!

Brand new to San Francisco's Stars Model Mgmt, 15 year old Lindsay Dettman is blessed with a look that simply fulfils every aspect of the word special - Her face kind of got its edges & roughness to pull off serious high fashion, but still has fragile and subtle elements giving her look a rather softened tone which the typical sharp-edged or "tough" girl might lack - Lindsay absolutely stands her own girl. 2010 is almost over, but we’re profoundly convinced that 2011 (and her motheragency Stars Model Mgmt!) has plenty to offer for the intriguing Miss - Stay tuned!

It's 10 days until christmas. And 7 more until the new year begins. We all know that the time flies increadibly fast in december and a week merely feels like 3 days. So, there is actually no need to rush and start with christmas- or new year-specials. Still we don't want to keep this little sneak-peek for the next year from you. Uno Models in Barcelona gave us a selection of their 2011 newbies and besides the fact that we should certainly be prepared to see more of these diamonds in the future, what else can we say but: Happy Newface 2011!

Whilst Chloe Memisevic keeps her print empire growing and Linus Gustin that handsome lad is yet on his way to become a household name, we couldn't help but carrying another Nisch-detection by the name of Dennis into our daily madness schedule - Cause the Swedish kid got classically smooth features which transcended amazingly gentle in the latest issue of Contributor Magazine by Andreas Sjödin... Well, DD is simply obsessed!

We recently stumbled over the new polaroids of this Beijing-beauty who has captivated New York's fashion audience with nabbing some important bookings (being shot by one of the most epic photography legends ever!) We don’t want to get too much into name dropping but it is safe to say that the guys at Wilhelmina have been doing pure magic on their new girl Wang Xaio. Vital personality meeting feline features, topped off with a great body language & a cool street style - surely helps when it comes to rocking the Fall 2011/12 shows!

As their updates and new signings are pretty much always worth to demand more info about. The blonde ladies above seem to be just two of Storm's most auspicious diamonds these days. News Update on: Querelle

180cm at House of Orange in Amsterdam

Strong comebacks are the key in the fashion biz. Iris Strubegger showed it to us some years ago already, Kristen McMenamy is fully in bloom again aswell and Kinga Rajzak is currently making an impression on the industry with her place among some other girls in the Prada campaign.
No need to mention that we absolutely love and believe such comeback-queens. Querelle Jansen who is probably the archetype of feline elegance (just look at her sensuous stare....) is no exception! And YES, she is back on the scene. She will be part of the S/S11 ads for Miu Miu. And she is sure to stay this time. And just to go one better: Mert & Marcus found a deep appreciation for the House of Orange-Discovery, so the Miu Miu deal has not been their only collaboration with Querelle in the past weeks. A true mannequin of high relevance proving her longevity with burning ambition - Welcome back, lieve mevrouw Jansen!

Model Chat: Cole

One of the most promising talents to gain first international recognition this year was undoubtly Cole Tuszino from Canada. Discovered by Calgary's powerhouse Mode, we had a fairly good feeling about Cole right from the beginning and it proved to be right last season, where she met up with NYC most prestigious casting agents such as Jill Stuart's Anita Britton or Rodarte's Jennifer Venditti, and immediately had their approval. As if ruling the catwalks of two of NYC's most important shows wouldn't be enough for a Newface already, Cole effortlessly continued her triumphal march in Paris, where she was hand-picked by Ann Demeulenmeester herself to grace her show aswell.

Mode agent Jessica managed a quick chit chat with Cole for us, accomplished by brand new polaroids from London which leave no doubt that this girl is a must-have for all the important clients. Read and see more below!

Her masculine facial-features and resolute attitude infront of the camera have made a big impression on us aswell. So let's check out some of Lena's new work - her debut in TUSH Magazine!

It has been a rather long time since we last posted a real interview. Well, being busy with collaborations, appointments, new discoveries etc. we hardly get around to really soak ourselves in a conversation (which is pretty much the essential thing for a good and productive interview). Modelwerk, nevertheless, gave us the opportunity to conduct a quick chit-chat with three of their Newfaces. Ora, Lena and Jerome not only share their hometown or motheragency, they also have another thing in common: a first class development ahead of them. With their latest discoveries, Signe or Eva who both made their first steps on the international runways last season, Modelwerk proves again that they not only know how to discover their great models, but also how to place and manage them.
