Starting with our beloved mate Chloe Memisevic - who worked through day and night, looking fabulous at Marc Jacobs and Prozena Schouler, closely followed by Melodie Monrose upgrading the Ashley Brokaw and Russel Marsh castings, there has been another girl of the Wilhelmina NY powerhouse who ended the week with a big boom - Hanna Samokhina was demanded exclusively for the Calvin Klein S/S11 show in New York. Her look probably couldn't be more suitable for Costa's straight and minimalistic aesthetics - a classy and timeless beauty!

Right now, the craze of fashionweek is increadible. New York, London then Milan and Paris to top it all.

These are the fashion capitals which surely are the most "buzzing" (not only at the moment) and known for miles around - even outside the industry. Other cities, take San Francisco for instance, might not be as much popular for their fashion-scene. But it definitely shouldn't be understimated or overlooked when it comes to promising models! Stars Models Management is one of San Francisco's most renowned agencies and with Mackenzie Drazan (who is already placed with Elite in Paris and walked for the Valentino Couture show recently) they have proven that we certainly should take a closer look and follow their board from now on. Having a pretty tight schedule (trying to reconcile uni and fashionweek) we won't bore you with endless descriptions. So just take a look below, at two (truly intriguing!) "stars" from San Fran - Mackenzie and Jillian.

View Management's hottest newface Alba Carrilo got some serious crossover talent to show off - Only 18 years old, the Madrid detected beauty will appear at the Spring shows in Madrid later this week - hopefully rocking things out as easily as numerous other newish and top girls represented by View have done on Madrid's runways in previous seasons. Scoring a height of 180cm and some salient cheekbones, there could be a lot to keep you up to date on in the near future - And we're eagerly worked up to do so.

Spring 2011 Showpackage: Storm Models London

Since New York Fashion Week is in full swing and you got to see our favorite beauties of DNA, Trump, Next and Wilhelmina, the visual trip through the most prestigious agencies of the industry continues with the Spring Summer 2011 showpackage of Storm Models in London. And after looking through the first cards, we can already say: we love the idea behind their package! Two selected pictures of the model's most recent or most impressive work, decorated with spots of colours and red/blue-rimmed with brushstrokes. Extremely popping but still a treat for the eyes. The entire show package is enormous, both quality and quanity wise, therefore and to not overdo things, we picked out 27 showcards and subdivided them into six parts, showcasing their top-working and established girls (take Coco Rocha or Eniko M. for an example), the comeback stars (like Storm Model's superstar Jourdan Dunn), our favorite newcomer girls represented by Storm, and surely we haven't forgotten about their very own, "in-house" girls, who are currently situated in development á la Chloe Watson from London!

Another buzz-magnet. Another star in the making. And yet another obsession of us. Stasya! With her debut at the Givenchy F/W 09 Couture show she has already managed to make some heads turn and get clients excited. But recently there has been a rather preculiar silence around this stunning redhead. Peculiar, because it's not the kind of silence, that makes you fear a model getting lost in the crowd. Much more a silence, that makes you eager for more and sets the right mood for the big storm (and we're not playing with words here) which is approaching. Because shooting for Dazed & Confused plus enjoying much popularity from some important stylists and casting directors certainly should be enough material to gather furore!

As the Spring Season buzz keeps us on the run with numerous intown NY girls, we had to neglect some precious new faces not going to be off to the shows, waiting for their placements, stuck in schoool or just freshly signed to their hard-working motheragents. Talking of Busy Models, and their soon-to-be-stars, we are in eager excitement about Codie Young, the Gemma Ward/Johanna Stickland lovechild who is gracing the cover of Vogue Australia's October issue right now, and hopefully going to make her debut next year.
Another girl of the Busy Company that aroused our attention is Eliza B. Just 14 years old, Eliza is already scoring 175cm and a placement to Vivien's Model Management - Loving her playful, innocent attitude & the smooth body language in those polaroids besides her very dollish appeal. Definitely not averse to keep the evolvement of this magical fleur under review, and definitely looking forward to showcase even more newbies of the Australian boutique agency Busy Models on Digital Diamonds, soon.

We've been waiting for this moment for such a long time and are now more than pleased to finally see it happen: Luisa Bianchin, whose development we've been following since her very first appearance on the model radar, is now on stay in New York - preparing herself for the Spring shows. Being spoiled by am model management with Luisa's fresh polaroids and (to top it all) a superb new spread in HK's Harper's Bazaar - is there more to ask for? So sensual, equipped with porcelain skin, pouty lips and those astute yet seductive eyes, it should be save that Luisa will rock the runways this season. Spring 2011: Thoughts on the showpackage of Wilhelmina NY.

As the majority of show packages has already been released, it’s about time for a little resume today! Too low on time to show you all packages, most of them look like the ones of previous seasons anyways, but one package that you should definitely get to know, totally striking on its own in terms of both visual and especially content-related qualities, is the package of Wilhelmina NY. So let’s start with the visual aspects: Like some rockers' girls on a road trip during the grunge movement of the Mid 80s, Wilhelmina girls have seemingly had a nice time walking down the highways, exploring the backstreets or just striking some poses in cross country vehicles whilst being photographed by Greg Manis (great job here, by the way). Independence, rebellion & self confidence at its highest level, making no stop there and most likely going to capture the NY market this season as well - something that Marike le Roux & Keke Lindgard of Wilhelmina accomplished exactly one year ago, might very well be possible for this season's newfaces for sure.
