READY FOR 2010

You can love it, you can hate it.
But you cannot escape CHRISTMAS TIME!
For all of you who are equally excited about some nice, relaxing days off, indulgement at family dinners and lots of glogg under the tree, as we are: merry christmas to you.

For those, who follow the Grinch's point of view and try to suppress everything, we're sure you'll like THIS kind of "christmas-spirit":

Amanda Norgaard (Supreme)

Laid back über-Fräulein from Denmark, renowend for her extraordinary sense of fashion and resemblance to sleeping-beauty Snejana Onopka. This season the stunner booked blue chip shows from Prada to Missoni, Alberta Ferretti, Chanel & Miu Miu.

Charlotte Hoyer (Next)

One of the first models we interviewed! Reliable and down-to-earth. You can see her on some billboard, starring in the DKNY campaign, just as you can see her here - joking around and having fun in the snow.

Hanna Rundlöf (Marilyn)

Well, what's left that we can say about Hanna? Everyone knows her for her exceptional look - which made her achieve eds in various big fashion magazines just as a great previous show-season. And still, she found some time to send you her christmas greetings.

Rachel Rutt (Next)

French-Revue, i-D and Vogue Australia were already falling for Rachel. No wonder: this girl seems to be one of the most promsing talents of Asian origin right now. So the next year should be a busy one for Rachel.

Claire Granlund (New Models Agency)

Still at the very beginning of her career, Claire certainly proved us in the last year that she has potential for BIG things! So well, what else is left to say but: we're eagerly waiting for the next year to start and to offer you great chances, Claire!

Samantha Gradoville (IMG)

Her eyes were radiating pure force at the Yves Saint Laurent show in Paris last season. And we are certainly looking forward to see this runway-gaze again (and at even more, and bigger shows) next year.

Uliana Tikhova (Trump)

The quirky, cute russian doll who gave us our very first model-interview. So, special thanks to you, Uli! She already proved at McQueen last season that she can handle crazy outfits, just as crazily high heels. Be prepared for more Uli next season!

Big THANK YOU's going out to all the other models + agents aswell, offering cooperation and material to write about. And an even bigger THANK YOU to our readers
- SEE YOU IN 2010!

Interview: Taylor Kraemer @ Marilyn

When it comes to the so called "all american girl" look, which has been led by Karlie Kloss these days, you better take a look at 5'11" tall Taylor Kraemer. Getting started at the age of 7, Ms Kraemer's modeling talent is as natural as the trees in the wood.
Almost 9 years later she caught our eye while leading the finale at Calvin Klein's resort show in New York wearing a white/grey combination that was like made for Taylor.
Now the 16yo took the industry by storm with the most selectively kick ass runway start we've seen in a long time:
Marc Jacobs in New York, Burberry as exclusive in London, D&G in Milan and Louis Vuitton in Paris.
But also Teen Vogue, Chadwick Tyler and a good handful of many other clients seem to appreciate working with Taylor. So, we're very looking forward to providing you the following interview (probably our last model interview for this year):

How did you get started? Ever thinking you'd be doing this?
I got startet when I was seven and a neighbor mailed in a picture of me cause she thought I should model. I never thought I would be up on the runways in New York it's great

Could you tell us three things about yourself that wouldn't people know otherwise?
I love my dog Gracie, going to church and having a good time with my friends.

What about your recent work - it there anything we can look forward to in praticular?
I recently shot the Lula magazine that comes out og London. As well as the future claw magazine

Where are you off to next?
I am off to New York next for another round of fashion weeks.

Tell us about the most impressive shooting you've done so far!
My favorite shooting I have done so far was Teen Vogue. It was a lot of fun and my friends thought it was so cool to see me in one of their favorite magazines.

Is it actually important for a model to feel comfortable in the clothes to be presented on the runway?
Yes, it's always important for the model to feel comfortable in the clothes because she has to walk in them. Then again it is the model's job to pull anything off and be able to seel it even if you're wearing a garbage can.

Your favorite runway look this season?
My favorite runway look so far was Marc by Marc Jacobs beaause it was so young and frsh and I loved the bows we wore in the hair.

From all the places you've been traveled due to modelling, which did you like the most?
From all the places i have traveled I have loved Paris the most. It was such a beautiful, romantiv city and there food was AMAZING. Stay ayey from the chocolate croissants let me tell ya.

You booked all Marc Jacobs shows this season. What is it loke to work with him?
I was very honored to have booked all the Marc Jacobs shows. His tem has excellent people not to mention hilarious.
Workin with Marc was great. He has an awesome ece and was very nice. He is a normall human being and was singing with Beyonce just like anyone else would. He is just extremely talented.

How did you find the Louis Vuitton show styling?
I loved the Louis Vuitton show styling it was fun and bright and different and the shoes were so different, too! Tey were quite comfy to walk in. I wanted one of the bags so bad I loved the bright colors they popped and it was definitely something I could see myself wearing.

What are you doing for Christmas?
For Christmas I am home. And very happy about it :) I plan to shop like crazy for my friends and family. I love buying things for other people. Also I have some snowmen making and sledding on my agenda!

How do you balance school and modelling?
School and modeling can be a hard balance but I am very conscious student and watch my grade to make sure they stay up. However I am taking three couses at home and the rest at school beaucse I am a very social person so the time I am home why not get some high school drama in :)?

How did your parents react on the changes in your life?
My parents are amazing. I could not have asked for more supportive hey support me 110%. If I want to quit modelling they support me; if i want to become a acrobat or a singer on anything they will always support me in whatever I want to do.

Do you actually consider yourself beautiful?
I don't see myselg through the ways the others do but I believe I have an interesting different look and my height and build apparently works in the industry so why not put it to use :)

If you could appear in a music video for anyone, for which musician(s) would it be and why?
If I could be in any music video it would for sure be Taylor Swift or any country music. I am in love with country and habe been told to look like Taylor Swift sometimes. Also a rap video would be fun to be seen just chilling in the back round with Kid Cudi :)

Tell us in the ends about your wishes for New Year.
My biggest wich for New Year ist to have a stellar year ahead of us and have everyone in my family stay in good health.

Thanks for the interview Taylor! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, may all your wishes come true :)

Interview : Jill Models

Founded in 2009, Jill Models is still a very new and fresh agency. Fresh, especially because of the fresh-faced girls they have on their board. But being pretty, of course, is not enough these days. And when we take a look at their models, we defenitely see that each of the girls was carefully chosen, with personality -speaking through their eyes- and charme. With a small board and just a handful of lovely girls, the Antwerp based agency has the opportunity to give every girl the attention they need. Providing them a great start into a possible international career in the future.

Newface Madness: Nele H.

Before we'll post our next agency interview we'd proudly like to present Nele H. from Bremen, Germany. Her very fragile, yet angelic appearance and perfectly structured body (check Specimen Model Management) make her stand out against the average good-looking Sauerkraut girls and definitely deserving this Midweek feautre.

Motheragency: Specimen
Nationality: German
Location: Bremen
Height: 180cm
Measurements: 82 60 89
Age: 18

Newface Madness: Eva Staudinger

Totally keen on this girl's look, we couldn't resist to feature her as new face of the week.
It's Eva Staudinger from cologne (180cm 85 60 90), new signed to Modelwerk (Hamburg) and most convincing in her brand new digitals. Blue eyes, legs that seem to go on forever, a great bone structure & fierce expression make her look absolutely distinctive.
