Interview: 2B Models

2B is a model agency founded in July 2006 and managed by Agris Blaubuks, an expierenced model himself. With girls like Laila Pudule (Ford NY, Elite Milan and FM London - already walked several shows at NY fashionweek), Sigita Nedzvecka (major agencies around the globe and with a great amount of editorial work under her belt), Laine Rogova or the new rising star Nikole Ivanova (with Ford in NY and recently featured as models.com 'Model of the Week') 2B is showing that they are not only striving to market their girls, but also that each of their models brings something very special with them. A handful of latvian beauty + a bucketful personality equals the typical 2B model.

Interview: Tabea Köbach @ Marylin

Before you start scrolling down in order to read the interview, have an eye on the following text please.

It’s about Tabea, the story of a 21yo German “from the mountains” that shows us how effective a ‘step by step’ development can work and that it’s better to keep things safe than to risk something.
Growing up in a quaint village in close vicinity to Lake Constance (Germany), Tabea hit the runway (after being discovered on a trip to New York some months earlier) by opening Badgley Mischka’s Resort 2009 show in June 2008 combined with a fluent passage to New York & Paris fashion week in September 2008. In the following year Miss Köbach worked with NYC's best photographers. And no one else but Chadwick Tyler booked her for his world-renowned exhibition ‘Tiberius’ alongside major faces like Lisa Cant, Karmen Pedaru, Viktoriya Sasonkina or Karlie Kloss and featured her on the cover of Lurve Magazine.

As expected Tabea was totally in demand for the runway season afterwards–Fall 2009.
By booking Herve Leger, BCBG, Ralph Lauren, Jonathan Saunders in NY and walking for Christopher Kane, Topshop Unique, Jaeger & Giles in London she was headed in the right direction for Milan and Paris. Perfectly fitting Gianfranco Ferre’s sharp shapes it went on by opening Les Copains and walking down the runway for Alberta Ferretti, Dsquared2 and other big names in Milan.
Casting Director Julia Samersova declears Tabea as one of the most promising New Faces due to her "otherworldly presence and eyes". Two days later Tabea appeared on the runways in Paris, aswell as scoring an only girl editorial for Elle Italy & a multi girl story for French Revue de Mode with Dree Hemingway. And it wasn’t any wonder that she did amazingly well in Berlin this summer (Strenesse Blue, Michalsky, Custo Barcelona, Kai Kühne) but enough of that résumé-talk for now….
Our friggingly stunning mate decleared herself ready to comly with answering our questions. Interview: Mandarina Models

Mandarina Models is a rather new agency, based in Bucharest (Romania). Totally unaware of the business, the guys from Mandarina founded the agency in the year 2005 and it took some time until they were ready to take on their first girls, get to know the industry and be ready for marketing. But now, it seems they are on the best way to become an established agency and they probably won't remain unknown for too long! With their newest finds Xenia (already placed at IMG) and Anna (with Women in Milan) they are bound to get a good reputation soon enough. Classic and almost flawless beauty, this is what all their girls bring with them. But each one in a different, unique way. For sure there will be a lot more to come from Mandarina's girls!

Interview: Brand Models

Brand Models is an agency located in Helsinki, Finland. A small board, filled with girls full of nordic charme and a personality, which is just as outstanding as their looks. Always on the hunt for new, great jobs for their girls to provide a quick and stable development, the guys at Brand were already able to record success with models like Emmi Hellsten, Iina Levala or Ann-Marie Ainikkamaki - who are all three signed international with the best agencies, always trying to strengthen their career. But there is much more to come from Brand! Keep your eyes open for their new girls - recently getting groomed for being ready to hit the major market.

Interview: Charlotte Høyer 2pm Model Management

Charlotte Høyer, a nordic (and very classic!) beauty from 2pm in Denmark already proved that she has it all to make it BIG in New York - as a Calvin Klein exclusive in she debuted at the S/S09 shows in the big apple and continued her success with print-work and shows like Armani, Max Mara or Blumarine in the following season. Her recent agency-switch in NY, from IMG to Next, should leave us thrilled about what's coming up next for the danish princess. And as we can't wait for the S/S10 season to start - here comes Charlotte's interview as a little pastime until the September shows:

Hanna Rundlöf is a Swedish fashion model born in 1992. After booking 51 shows including Calvin Klein, Miu Miu, Prada and Nina Ricci and scoring a D&G Dolce Gabbana Campaign photographed by Mario Testino, she lines up under the Top 10 of Models.com’s Fall 2009 Newcomers.

After making an impressive start on NYC's runways last Febuary, 19yo model Uliana Tikhova has begun to capture Europe’s fashion market with bookings for (Marc by) Marc Jacobs, Iceberg, Nina Ricci, Givenchy, Sophia Kokosalaki and Louis Vuitton. From New York to Paris, this Russian stunner is definitely in demand!

Models, that booked great runway jobs but neither mainline campaigns nor prestigious covers.

Interview: PMST

The Czech agency P Model Scout Team (short: PMST) is based in Prague and was founded in 2005. Since then, the guys at PMST established their reputation, opened another office in Ostrava (Czech) and Kaunas (Lithuania), discovered the top girl Giedre Dukauskaite and now, it seems they just don't want to stop. With the new sensation Monika Jelenova (aka MJ) who is already placed with major agencies in the most important fashion capitals (Ford in NY, Viva in Paris and D'management in Milan) PMST proved once again that their girls have the potential to make it big. Because Gaga, based in Poznan, Poland, truly proved that they know where to find promising new girls. Fresh faced and with "hunger for life" - this is how their ideal model should be. And if you take a closer look to last season's break out star Monika Jagaciak (aka Jac), you can defenitely see these attributes.
