Rossella Dimichina is an Italian photographer born in 1982. She's renowned for winning Lee's 'Make History' competition. We had the pleasure of conducting an interview with her.

Interview: Place Models

Place Models is a renowned agency based in the seaport-town Hamburg, Germany. Since 1999 Yannis and Jan-Eric are on the look-out for new, promising faces who are ready to rock fashionworld just like their most successful girl, Iris Strubegger, does right now. Unique and outstanding. With charme and poise. This is a description that not only fits perfectly to Iris, but also to almost all of their girls. And nevertheless it was Yannis himself, who discovered Miss Luca Gadjus - a well known name in the industry until now. So, whatever it is that makes all the talented and beautiful girls bump into the guys from Place sooner or later, they defenitely know their business!

Introductions have never been our cup of tea, so we'll make it short and precise: this is a blog mainly about models. And as we all know, it's mostly not only the model being famous for her looks, but also her management, that develops and helps a new girl making the right steps to the right time, so they can make their way on the path of fashion-careers. And now the question: what belongs to a model, just like her portfolio that is stuffed with gorgeous pictures?

So, you will not only get information about several agencies and photographers around the globe, you will also get the chance to take a look at a small but mighty collection of snapshots - showing new diamonds just as the established girls. Because polaroids never lie.
