Don't follow accounts on twitter pretending to belong to DD. The only real one is the one linked on the right of this page!

Dear everyone,
I wanted to let you know that my ethereal impostor has taken it to the next level, creeping around on Twitter under numerous names, claiming to be related to this site. I don't have a personal twitter account. It's getting really ridiculous. And I fail to understand how someone is willing to invest so much time in this sort of kid stuff which is slowly getting boring and not getting this person anywhere. A sincere kiss to this creep, I'm quite touched that someone I have never met cares so much for me and probably considers me to be the meaning of his life.
Cheers, farewell and don't let the autumn weather ruin your make-up.

PS: I haven't sent out mails in over a week. Dont get back to anyone claming to be me.

Final Post: Ford Models Europe (SS13)

So before I throw Digital Diamonds into the garbage bin and let it rot among other sweet blogs that were closed in the past, I'm going for a very last post. Found these florets in my inbox this morning and it would be a crime against humanity (and the girls' booker) to leave them unexposed. This final report is about the little show ponies from Ford Models Europe, an agency with a new found development division holding an incredible strength in terms of quality faces. The following girls are set to thrill!

Carolina S (178cm) at Ford Models Europe Booking: ferlina.tunggal@fordmodelseurope.com Click here for Portfolio

Carolina Sjöstrand has been on my radar for months now. Glad to see that Ford Europe has taken her on internationally.
Such a special face, love the angular, edgy lines she has to her face!

Priscilla (175cm) at Ford Models Europe Booking: ferlina.tunggal@fordmodelseurope.com  Click here for Portfolio

As soon as many people see naturally beautiful models, they immediately come up with far-fetched supermodel comparisons which I often fail to understand. I must admit that Ford's Priscilla is one of the very few girls who comes extremely close to what supermodels in the 90s really looked like - They were limitlessly beautiful, kind of 'foxy' and glowing. Long live Priscilla!

Tamy (180cm) at Ford Models Europe | Booking: ferlina.tunggal@fordmodelseurope.com Click here for Portfoli

The very androgynous Tamy projects power and nonchalance on her new digitals!

Santa (178cm) at Ford Models Europe | Booking: ferlina.tunggal@fordmodelseurope.com | Click here for Portfolio

Have never heart of Santa until today but word has that the girl has been doing very well so far which I'm pleased to hear as she's got this mysterious type of beauty which I have always loved to profile on Digital Diamonds. Here's hope for a great start into PFW for Santa!

Dasha (177cm) at Ford Models Europe Booking: ferlina.tunggal@fordmodelseurope.com | Click here for Portfolio

Also welcome Dasha to Paris! Her face has a wonderful combination of rawness and sophistication.

Sara Steiner (177cm) at Ford Models Europe Booking: ferlina.tunggal@fordmodelseurope.com | Click here for Portfolio

Sara Steiner is probably the most valuable newbie at Ford Europe. You should have a look at her book to get your tired eyes indulged on this grey Saturday afternoon - She has already shot for high end publications such as Novembre Magazine or Rush Magazine and this is actually just the beginning of an impressive editorial CV - There is more in the making. I also like the fact that she's from Monaco - The only place in Europe where you can still drive your Ferrari without both getting glances of envy and having people spit on your gilded engine cover.

Isabella (178cm) at Ford Models Europe | Booking: ferlina.tunggal@fordmodelseurope.com Click here for Portfolio

Love Isabella's face. Kind of mature and clean cut with a raw twist - No wonder she has already managed to gather furore in the form of high end editorials.

Sofiya at Ford Models Europe (178cm) | Booking: ferlina.tunggal@fordmodelseurope.com Click here for Portfolio

Sofiya popped in the Ford office for some digitals literally 5 minutes before I planned to publish this feature. I love sullen vibes she emits on these shots - May this season be a good one for her!

Goodbye, everyone!

Email scam

I wish I could publish a more pleasant announcement than this one which I am not very thrilled about to do, but I will close Digital Diamonds – For quite some time, a very sick person (who is a competitor of mine) has been aggressively trying to kill my reputation and bring me into problems.
It all started some weeks ago when a street style photographer asked me why I would send out mails to agencies in which it was stated that he and me would be partners from now on. I first thought this was a bad joke. Shortly afterwards, some mother agents forwarded me some mails which were sent out to casting directors and photographers by a person who has spoofed ‘info@digitaldiamonds.de’ with a hacking program. These mails included photos of models who are represented by some agencies I work with. The accompanying text to these emails said that I’m the Europe scout of a well-known agency network (which is of course nonsense!) as well as that I have discovered the girls whose photos were posted in attachment (also nonsense!) and on the top of that, the person proposed these models for bookings (!!!!) to the people who she sent these mails to - and she signed these emails with my name. I don’t know what motivated this monster to plan and execute this ridiculous venture, I guess only a brain that is equally sick as hers understands this. In the meantime, she also faked an email account of a very-well known casting director and mass mailed agencies, casting agents and photographers some untrue claims about me.  I simply don’t understand why she is doing that. I have never met this creature and I do think that she needs to see a doctor.  .  But this entire story is going to end differently than this creature expects (she probably got the orgasm of her lifetime while reading the first sentence of this very last post on DD). My lawyer is now preparing the accusation against her.  This person has done this sort of online crimes for years now, and she will receive some deserved (legal) punishment for the troubles she tried to get me into.
I don’t know if she’s still sending out these emails, but if you still receive emails from info@digitaldiamonds.de or digitaldiamonds@hotmail.de, simply delete them and do not open the attached images.
This all actually is such a pity because DD was faring really well. I was receiving (and still do) around 50 suggestions every week from usual mother agencies over boutique agencies to powerhouses –  I have never had problems with anyone.  The “biggest problem” I ever had with an agency was that I credited one of their girl’s measurements wrongly. I always loved it when mother agencies told me how much response they have received after I featured one of their girls. And the one and only point of Digital Diamonds has always been to highlight beautiful new faces, nothing more than that.
I will quit Digital Diamonds right now. I don’t want people to think that I’m infamous or something.
I feel sincerely sorry for those who enjoyed reading this site for the past three years, and I also feel sorry for the agents who enjoyed having their models featured on Digital Diamonds. Also sorry for the people who are currently waiting for features on their girls to be published, but I can’t do this because I’m afraid that the person behind this mess is going to send out these girls to casting directors using my name again. I hope you understand!
Maybe Digital Diamonds come back at some point, not sure, who knows. Best wishes!

SS13: One of many ones to book @ Team Models: Sophia (via IMG Paris)

Team Models in Oslo (Norway) introduces Sophia Valan (Info: alexander@teammodels.no| To be launched by IMG Paris during S/S13

Have already swooned over Sophia Valen with someone who works at Team a few months ago - This kid simply is one of the most striking girls launched by Team Models from Norway in recent years, I guess you might all agree with me on that. She's recently been taken on internationally by IMG Models in Paris - where she's now off to for S/S13 show season. What I enjoy about this lovely girl are the essential Nordic features she as well as the fairly melancholic, silently alluring vibes she emits. French clients are likely to fall for this girl, non?

Malaika

Malaika Firth (175cm) at Premier Model Management in London (UK) Booking: annie@premiermodelmanagement.com Click here for Portfolio

From now on, I will also keep you posted on the female newbies from an agency which has always ranked among my top favourites: Premier Model Management! I could now go for lines and lines how great they are and how many top careers they have been involved in over the past decades, but that's no news to anyone of you so let's just have a look at the agency's latest proposal that is Malaika: There is a delicacy and softness about the young Brit's face that had me struck instantly. Harmonious, pure features, peaceful (yet piercing) gaze - She's all about naturalness and striking glow. Plus the girl's book does actually have the substance to back up those first impressions.
Someone seems fairly ready for the next level, non?

Tsheca

Tsheca White from Jamaica at Mix Model Management in New York City Backstage at Marc by Marc Jacobs via wwd.com

Are you a fan of S/S13? I'm not too fond of what the season has brought to us regarding (coveted) newfaces so far. Too many shaky walks, too many uneasy upper body movements, too many sad eyes with total absence of vibrant expressions. Not very far fetched to say that most of these careers will end even before the curtain raises in Paris. And then there is this girl: Tsheca at Mix Model Management. Truly impressive, finally a girl with some bright, glowing aura. And raw elegance. I love these warm eyes. She's miles ahead of the new generation of attractive robots. A true new favourite.

Elisabeth

Dominique Models in Brussels introduces Elisabeth V (Height: 180cm) Please contact Layna (layna@dominique-models.com) for requests

Morgane Heidbreder. Nina Rietjens. Marine Deleeuw. Stephanie Bertram. Isabel D. Yumi Lambert. The ladies and fellas at Dominique deserve some bottles of champagne for rocking the scouting thing so incredibly hard. Quality at this house is so far beyond what you usually get to see at full service agencies in Europe's local commercial markets. I'm sure you don't mind me introducing Elisabeth V whose card looks very right pinned on the agency's board between the names mentioned in the first line. Something very unique about this one. Feline, calm but no less fascinating - It's a very rare and modern type of beauty she possesses and it's all perfectly displayed on the shots above. Belgians, I just love them. They're like the better Germans.

Kristine

I remember being vaguely in touch with Heartbreak Management about three seasons ago when I profiled the agency's show, cover, campaign and editorial gun Erjona Ala shortly after she was released from her Balenciaga exclusive. They just touched base with me again which I am very pleased about - Because their girls' flawless looks are likely to break your heart, blow your mind, make your jaw drop and kick you into seventh heaven - which means they're perfect for this site. Let's start with Kristine!

Kristine (172cm) at Heartbreak Management (Copenhagen & Oslo) Booking Contact: julie@heartbreakmanagement.com

Simply put: Kristine is the born heartbreaker. Such a fan of her digitals (and face as well, that's for sure). The rookie is blessed with an incredibly soft, timeless beauty accompanied by a delicate attitude in front of the camera which definitely does not fail to impress. It comes as no surprise that Kristine has already received a really good response despite being 2 or 3 centimeters shorter than the average model - I always say it's the face, attitude and proportions that matter in the end of the day. Can just advice everyone to take a close look at the stunner's portfolio which can be found under Heartbreak's stunning development division!
